Siddiqui recently came back from India after a liver transplant.

Video director Saqib Siddiqui passed away

Renowned Pakistani video director Saqib Siddiqui travelled to India a couple of months back for a liver transplant. The transplant was successful but it had effected his kidneys which lead him to severe illness.

Siddiqui had spent more than $45,000 in India for his liver transplant but he wasn’t able to pay any additional fees for the treatment to cure his kidneys. He was financially supported by the government of Pakistan that brought him back to his home in Lahore.

He wasn’t doing really well since then and was admitted in an ICU of private hospital in Lahore. Fighting for his life for last couple of days, Siddiqui passed away at the same hospital last night.

Siddiqui had directed more than 350 music videos. This includes working with Jawad Ahmed, Abrar ul Haq, Noman Javed, Falak Shabir, Bilal Saeed and the renowned Rap Star Bohemia.

Bilal Saeed’s 12 Saal and Soniye by Falak has been one of the Saqib Siddiqui’s prominent projects.

With his dedication, hard work and passion for his work, Siddiqui proved himself as one of the mature content creators in the industry.
