The three-day long 7UP foodies festival kickstarts with a bang!
A large number of families and food lovers have started coming to
Etihad Town, as the most awaited food festival 7UP Foodies Festival kickstarts on an excellent note in Lahore.
Serving the best food, music and entertainment the 7up Foodies Festival is happening from 5th, 6th and 7th April at Etihad Town, Main Raiwind Road Lahore. Especially for all those visiting from Karachi for the event.
Our favourite moments from Day 1 include seeing the craziest and yummiest variety of food. There had to be more than 120 eateries to choose from which is why we’re going on Day 2 and 3! Don’t want to miss out on the scrumptious variety especially after we spotted PF Chang! Yup, we were equally impressed with 7up for this since this is probably the first time ever that PF Chang is at any food festival. Even though the event was attended by probably most of Lahore, some Karachiites, Faisalabadis and Islamabadis, it was commendable to see how well the event was organised. It did not feel rowdy or chaotic perhaps because of the space allotted for the festival or just overall decision to make it a family festival. It’s a family and female safe zone so, you won’t come across those nasty groups of boys.
As the day goes by, the festival just became better with a brilliant line up of musicians for Day 1 including Jibran Raheel, Nauman Khalid, Bayaan, Soch, Jal and Abrar-ul-Haq. We recommend you buy a variety of food and pick up 7ups and enjoy the rest of the afternoon listening to great music.
There were also a LOT of celebrities on ground too. Almost like the entire entertainment industry was there to enjoy. You are bound to bump into some of them. We were lucky enough to get an opportunity to meet Anoushay Ashraf, Sana Javed, Azfar Rehman, Ukhano, Mooroo and Feroze Khan!! Yup there were in numerous fan moments happening!
If you have children with you, the 7up Foodies Festival also has a Play Café. There’s also a Happy Acre Assisted Play Area where you can easily spot moms and dads taking time out and enjoying the festival. Children happy, parents happy. Dream come true right?! This level of organisation is unheard of especially for Pakistani festivals. Kudos to 7up Team for putting it together. For all those who haven’t gotten a chance to attend Day 1, trust us when we say you don’t want to miss out! 2 more days to go, you might have missed the first day music line-up but hey they’ve got more amazing performances on all three days!!
